There's a lot said about what to (and what not to) put on a resume. A simple Google search will turn up pages and pages of articles related to the topic. Our latest blog, though, takes a different approach. In it, we examine the far too common, and easily fixable, mistakes candidates make that may be costing them both opportunity and money.

Q1:	What was your first paying job? At age 13 I put flyers on cars at Christmas time, selling a "Call from Santa." If you sent me $5 I would call the child before Christmas Eve - to wish them a Merry Christmas. I actually had my brother and dad help me with the calls posing as Santa, I played Mrs. Clause. I made $35!!!! I'm still shocked seven families trusted a flyer and sent $5 in the mail. I handed out 100 flyers and hit 7 - a 7% return! Not bad for my first marketing venture :)
Q2:	Favorite weekend hobby? Pizza Friday nights on the couch with my family watching Survivor and Shark Tank.
Q3:	What was your favorite TV show growing up as a kid? Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley and Three's Company was, and will always be, the best night of television EVER!!!!!
Q4:	If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? I'd take an African safari.
Q5:	What is one word you would use to describe the team at PSCI? Loyal.

PA Conference for Women

Earlier this month, the women in our office attended the Pennsylvania Conference for Women held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadephia. While there, they listened, learned and were inspired by the day's events and seminars which spoke to the issues that matter most to women, including health, personal finance, work/life balance, branding and more.

They were also able to attend keynote speeches made by Abby Wambach, Mindy Kaling and Anita Hill!
