John has totaled more than 6 years of service with PSCI working on two separate contracts. In his current position, where he serves as a UI/UX Developer for the Delaware Department of Technology and Information, John is responsible for user interface programming for DTI's applications. Let's take a moment to learn more about him in this month's Fast Five: Years and projects worked on at PSCI? 2006 - 2012 and again in 2018. I worked at the DE Department of Education and at the DE Department of Technology and Information. What was your first paying job? Paper route. I delivered every day and only got $25 a month for it. Favorite weekend hobby? BBQ'ing. (Editor's note: As Sr. Business Director Ken Hoffmann can attest, not only is it John's hobby, but very much one of his skills!) What would people be surprised to learn about you? I listen to classical music and speak fluent French. What separates PSCI from other consulting firms you've worked with? PSCI cares about you individually! PSCI takes advantage of available opportunities to show personal interest towards their consultants. I remembered that when I was with other consulting companies. The other companies just make it about getting their money and keeping the contract. PSCI uses the right Business Directors to make sure that the business relationships stay oiled and running well. That's why, for the second year in a row, PSCI has donated to the Ministry of Caring - a community-based nonprofit organization that provides a network of social, health and support services for those living in poverty in the greater Wilmington, DE area. This year, our donation once again consisted of non-perishable food items (stuffing, cranberry sauce, canned vegetables, gravy, canned yam, pancake mix and syrup, oatmeal, and mashed potatoes) that helped to feed those families in need.
