Need a skilled analyst to perform Root Cause Analysis of predetermined vulnerabilites found during recent evaluation/ scans.

Create ServiceNow ticket, has to do a bit of homework and work with security team to figure out the problem and solution. Flowchart to external/vendor or internal based resolution response

Triage, root cause analysis, remediate if you can with the existing client tool set or write up the details of what it would take to clear it up in future tools or platform

 

Skills: Nexpose

Scripting language (Powershell, or other scripting language)

Root cause analysis,

Technical writing for details and capturing information

NCR/ RPOS

 

Determine escalation procedure with help of security team.

Examples of problems

1)Ivanti has a risk and requires an upgrade.

Need to assess what the upgrade would be, make sure upgrade fits what they need, move forward

2)Your network name doesn’t match the IP address.
