This position will be engaged in all phases of the new project’s development lifecycle. These phases include requirements analysis, test script and test plan development, user acceptance testing, and user training. This position will also be involved in reviewing and providing feedback on deliverables such as business/functional requirements, and test plan. The BA’s primary strengths should include the ability to understand business processes, knowledge of the software development lifecycle, requirements analysis, test case preparation, user acceptance testing, and user training. Candidate should be experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Candidate should be able to write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. The BA will be required to liaison between business users and IT teams and must have experience with relaying business functional needs to technology teams. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under general supervision while reporting to project manager, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
