SR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, CORPORATE FINANCE
POSITION SUMMARY
The Engineering team is responsible for the architecture, design, development, and operations of systems and applications. This role involves planning, designing, and implementing complex development projects, working with stakeholders to meet business needs within budget, mentoring teams, and developing the roadmap for the platform.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to meet business needs and stay within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure service quality and alignment with objectives.
- Develop roadmaps and contribute to IT engineering strategy and software development methods.
- Oversee technical work with IT teams and support systems, including infrastructure and system owners.
- Develop code, scripts, and designs per requirements.
- Lead design, code, and configuration reviews; participate in Agile rituals and document technical work.
- Design complex software applications and modules using agreed standards and methodologies.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
- Conduct market research and stay ahead of emerging trends.
- Collaborate with product and system teams to ensure thorough test coverage and process enhancement.
- Plan and drive development projects, evaluate design options, and manage release components.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 5+ years leading an agile team in a multi-cloud hybrid ecosystem.
- 5+ years experience with integration orchestration patterns and middleware tools.
- Experience delivering solutions to complex business problems and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Agile, Continuous Integration, TDD, Continuous Delivery, Automated Testing.
- Experience with Oracle EBS Financials, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Fusion APIs, Oracle Cloud (OCI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience in script development with Python, Databricks, Pyspark, and building RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of Oracle AWR reports, SQL fine-tuning, and Enterprise Schedulers.
- Technical experience with Oracle EPM Cloud Platform desired.
- Retail/Ecommerce experience required.
- High level of integrity, self-motivation, and ability to manage confidential matters and support both onshore and offshore teams.
