William Moser

Let's take a moment to learn more about him in this month's Fast Five.

1. Years and projects worked on at PSCI?

I've worked for PSCI for 6 years as a Network Admin for the Delaware Dept. of Technology and Information, providing onsite desktop and network support at the Delaware Veterans Home. I've been involved with many projects over my time there including upgrades to the Electronic Charting System for resident medical records, upgrades to the servers, the digital signage system and the Veterans Home network re-architecture and disaster recovery program, for which I received the 2017 Governor's Team Excellence Award.

2. What was your first paying job?

Aside from being a paper boy, my first real job was as a busboy and dishwasher at Friendly's.

3. Favorite weekend hobby?

My favorite thing to do on the weekends, or any time off, is to ride my Harley or walk the nature trails with my wife, Ellen, and our Plott hound, Dude (look it up, very interesting breed!).

4. What would people be surprised to learn about you?

That I played saxophone in the Navy band. Oh, and that I can cook minute rice in 59 seconds! (Sorry, I couldn't help myself!)

5. What separates PSCI from other consulting firms you've worked with?

PSCI has been a great company to work for. You are always treated as a valued employee and a human being, not just a number.

A Year of COVID

Last March, PSCI staff packed up our work essentials and went home to work for what we thought was only going to be two weeks. One year later, here we still are.

For the past year, the coronavirus pandemic has interrupted our lives and forced us to get accustomed to a new normal.

While it has been trying emotionally, personally, and professionally, our performance has never suffered. And that's a testament to our amazing consultants and internal staff. Without all of your hard work, perseverance, flexibility, and dedication, surviving the past year would have been impossible.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for all that you have done and continue to do!

A Spotlight on Mental Health

PSCI utilizes the services of Creative Benefits to assist with the intricacies of benefits administration. As part of their outreach, they've put forth a 12-part Mental Health Campaign to increase mental health awareness and provide mental health education.
